Beautiful French piece created around the 1960's at the Vassort atelier in Paris. It was carefully crafted in solid 18 karats yellow gold with high polished finish. Embellished with an almond fluted carving of natural salmon coral and a free form stripe carved from black onyx. Accented with two curved lines, set with a French pave of 48 round brilliants cuts diamonds, 1.01 Carats, F/G color, VS-2 clarity. Have a total weight of 18.6 Grams and the actual size is 6. The top view measures are 31 mm by 21 mm (1.22 x 0.83 Inches). Stamped, with French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the gold and the maker's maitre cartouche AV associated to Andre Vassort. Very good conditions.
