The Bee Brooch/Pendant from the 1970s, weighing 38.8 grams, is crafted in 18k yellow gold and features approximately 0.75 carats of round cut diamonds in G color, two cabochon ruby eyes, three pink tourmalines in cushion, cabochon, and heart cuts totaling approximately 7.5 carats, complemented by opal, cabochon citrine, and rock crystal accents. This versatile Mid-Century piece measures 3.0 x 1.7 inches, stamped "18K" with maker's mark, and remains in excellent condition, showcasing the whimsical naturalistic design characteristic of 1970s jewelry artistry.
Very Good, one of the Rock crystal has a faint, barely noticeable scratch. All our diamonds and colored gemstones are naturally earth-mined. Any synthetic (lab-grown) stones will be clearly indicated in the description. Upon Request, Auction House may provide an appraisal. This will carry an additional cost. Appraisals are made by our in house GIA certified Gemologist.
